Child theme: when to configure it

    Hello there.
    Just a doubt: when should I configure the child theme? before importing a starter site of after? Thanks

  • Hi @meleferrante,

    Although many experienced and WordPress experts recommend the use of a child theme, actually, child theme is not required and completely optional. It also has nothing to do with our Starter Template.

    Installing a child theme on your site before or after importing a template would not be a problem.
