Does your child theme have its own text domain, or are you just using the same translatable texts as the parent theme?

    I’m using the same translatable

then you don’t need to make translations in your child theme. just translate the parent theme as the parent theme is what loads the translation files.

To be sure I understand (I lack practive in english and in wordpress also!) you told me to translate my parent theme but if I did it my child theme will never be translated? I have tried to translate few words in my parent theme and then move the po file in my child theme but it doesn’t work. Sorry…

The translations in your parent theme can be called from your child theme.

You said you’re keeping the original translatable strings, so don’t move any translation files unless you know what you’re doing. Let the parent theme load the translations file.
