Child-Theming not working alx-tabs

  • I need to customize the alx-tabs and read many topics for that but it is not working. I created child-template and the folder:

    function/widgets

    in it. In this folder i created alx-tabs.php and tried to edit it. I dont see any results for this. Can’t find my mistake. can you please help?`

    I also want to add a “random post” Tab Option for the Tabs. I found a post to change “most popular” in “random posts” but I want to have both shown on my page. Hope sb could help me out with the 1. question and in addition with this customization.
