Child-Thumbnail in [su_posts]

Hey, I am using the su_posts shortcode with the following setup:

[su_posts template=”templates/teaser-loop.php” posts_per_page=”7″ post_type=”page” taxonomy=”link_category” order=”desc” orderby=”rand” post_parent=”2091″]

This displays the thumbnail and title of each page in the list.
My problem is, sometimes those are single pages with a thumbnail, other times they are parent pages where each child has a thumbnail, but not the parent itself. In this case, I would like to display the thumbnail of the first child.

An example of such a page is the provided link. It is a parent page with multiple child pages, and it automatically redirects to its 1st child.
And the shortcode is used in the “More Android Tutorials” widget on the right.

One solution would be to just add the thumbnail of the first child to the parent page manually, but I was wondering if there is a solution that wouldn’t require these manual updates.
