If the MainWP Child plugin is deactivated on a site using a Child Unique Security ID, it is impossible to reconnect the site to the MainWP Dashboard.

The Dashboard warns that it is necessary to re-enter the Child Unique Security ID, but there is no facility to do so. This means that the only way to re-establish a connection is by deleting the child site from the dashboard and then adding it back again from scratch.

Could you, please, add a field so that the Child Unique Security ID can be re-entered in the dashboard?

That is currently the only way to do it if you choose to use the Unique Security ID feature.

If you have ideas such as this please enter it in the MainWP Ideas site https://ideas.mainwp.com so others can see it and vote on the idea for inclusion.

    OK, will do.

In the meantime, though, I think you should make that clear on the child site before that feature is used.

You also need to change what is currently said on the dashboard, which currently gives the impression that the Unique Security ID needs to be re-entered when re-connecting to the child site, yet provides nowhere to do so. Indeed, that’s what caused me to report this issue here as a bug.
