China usage

I’ve looked for a china specific version of this API and have not been able to find one.

To verify if that is the issue here, can you try loading the following URL in your browser and tell me if you are able to load it and get a response?

https://www.googleapis.com/pagespeedonline/v4/runPagespeed?url=https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/&strategy=mobile&key=YOUR_API_KEY

(Don’t forget to add your API key to the URL)

If it is not blocked it should return some JSON pagespeed reports.

I tried the following URL

but I can not access it, and show message as screenshot: https://prntscr.com/i3pkqv

And if I use VPN to access it, it show some other messages: https://prntscr.com/i3pm6r

would you please try that url and verify whether that url work properly for you.

I get the second results that you got when you used a VPN to view the URL. That error can be resolved by removing any IP or domain restrictions on your API key through the Google Developer Console.

However, as access to that service is blocked I don’t see how you would be able to use the service even after fixing the key restrictions.

Unfortunately there isn’t anything I can do here to help as Google does not provide alternative API urls for pagespeed service in China. You could potentially contact Google and inquire to see if this is something they want to support.

I wish I could do more!

but once I click RUN INSIGHTS at this page https://prntscr.com/i3pv76

it will redirect to https://developers.google.cn/speed/pagespeed/insights:

I get the same redirect and error. Perhaps the forum I linked to earlier would be a good place to start with contacting google about this error.

No the pagespeed service is a different product than pagespeed insights. Just confusing names.
