chinese characters instead of social icons

  • Hello, I have a rather weird problem.
    When I visit my wordpress site with the prefix “www.” the social icons become chinese characters. When I leave the www away they show up just fine.
    I think the problem is that I am using the german version but that still doesn’t explain why it works without “www”. Any idea why?

    How do I fix it in the german version that they show up aswell?
