chmod to 777 for files under blogs.dir?

  • Some plugins like Zingiri are prompting to make the files folder under blogs.dir writable .Is that ok if I chmod to 777 for blogs.dir/files?

    /wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/

    No other plugins prompt that .Does any one have Idea about this?
