Chocotheme: changing the navegation options

  • I’m using Chocotheme, which on the whole I really like. However, one thing that I wish was different is the ability to change items in the top navegation menu. As it is, the only options are either categories or pages, but not a combination of the two and without the ability to pick and choose which items should be there. The WP default theme’s (twentyten) treatment menus is what I’m looking to accomplish.

    I’ve tried duplicating the ideas here, even commenting out the loading of Chocotheme’s navigation-options.php, but as soon as I configure a menu in the admin appearance/menu screen and reload the site, it freezes part way through the loading and I have to shut down and restart the browser.

    Any help in figuring out how to improve the menu options for this theme would be appreciated.
