    Choice + Ad Inserter Plugin

    Blocking ads until consent a user has given consent. See the “How to show ads based on visitors’ consent?” section in their help documentation here. Showing you how to whitelist consent cookies such as the Google Advertising Products Cookie (euconsent-v2[vendor][consents][755]=1) and you also have to Make sure you have Dynamic blocks set to client-side insert – TCF v2.0 based cookie needs to be checked client-side (in the browser).

    * If you are still seeing 1.1 errors, you may also need to whitelist euconsent-v2[purpose][consents][1]=1 to check for Purpose one consent as well.

    Note: Ad Inserter has added some specific guidance related to Quantcast Choice on their help page, but any instructions pertaining to TCF v2.0 on should also be relevant for Quantcast Choice as we are a TCF v2.0 compliant CMP.

    Please make sure you have attempted to follow the blocking instructions provided by Ad Inserter (see above) before reporting Google 2.1a and 1.1 errors here.

  • @spacetime : I want to include header script for google ads to be loaded inside<head></head> tags, so what I should I set for insertion in adinserter as there is no ‘<head>’ option in insertion for adinserter as header script works only inside <head> tag.

    But it was all good before switching manual load to auto (without that, ads won’t wait for consent tho), and Adsense was reading my layout perfectly. Unfortunately switching to fixed size ads is not an option for me, as it would reduce my available inventory even more.

    You can create custom insertion position Header using wp_head action hook:

    However, I would still prefer to insert the codes into footer.

    So, I’ve been just reading this trying to solve it and now I have some questions please confirm @spacetime @rbaronqc

    For Ad Inserter, everything is working right now?? It just need the configuration of ourselves, in my case I would like to buy PRO, but I’m seeing if everything is correct, please give us guarantee and tell me if everything is working correctly.

    Why it is not working on Mozilla Firefox?? Chrome is working as I saw two days ago. Need to check again. https://www.musicmundial.com/en/ check please.

    Can automatic ads from Adsense works? Also do you have fix this for the moneytizer and mgid?

    For Quantcast, I sent an email, and they say that mobile box is not customizable. Why? I think it is too big. They sent me an email to pro version.

    Good morning @spacetime, I had a pair of questions if possible ??

    1. We have ALL our ads thru Ad Inserter Pro configured, none outside. Each ad has it’s possition configured, for example “Aligment: Center”, instead of “no wrapping”, so the ad shows in the middle of the page. This can’t be done? It has to have “No wrapping” always in all our ads? And we have to include the center alignment in other place as for example ads codes?

    I haven’t got clear, what to do with this code, that adsense says to place it on the header, but you don’t recommend to place it on the header and as I read from you yesterday, you said I think 2 different things: a) To place it in a block, as no wrapping (footer) and place the URL Parameters: euconsent-v2[vendor][consents][755]=true && euconsent-v2[purpose][consents][1]=true, euconsent-v2[gdprApplies]=false OR b) To place it at Footer Ad Inserter Configuration or at Header with an action hock, but this part didn’t get clear for me. Could you explain how to work with that code in a secure way for comply with adsense policies, in addition to the said code loading after acceptance of Quantcast (cookies).

    Really, all this is a bit confussing for me, as I see is too confussing for @vsharmilee.

    Other point is that I have same question as @sneesel, we too use one banner from Moneytizer.com, is there any fix for this?

    Thank for your time, I think would be better to work all together to fix this, as we have being here for days and days, but as we do not have as much fluency with the Ad Inserter plugin as you, it would be appreciated a little more advice on how to proceed properly, to try to solve the problems of Adsense errors, to see if we are on the right track.

    Hi everyone.
    I have followed this entire support thread and those related to this issue in detail since it started.
    I use AdInserter (free version) to insert my ads and Quantcast Choice as a cookie notice. Both were set up under the instructions explained here.
    In view of the user, everything works correctly: the consent banner appears, it is accepted, the page is reloaded and the ads are displayed.
    The problem is that Google Adsense keeps throwing 2.1a errors on the panel.
    Is this happening to someone else? Is there any solution for this?
    It is useless to have everything properly configured if Google don’t validate it. ??

    @spacetime @ibiza69 :I have tried adding google script in adinserter header itslf but still the autoads are loading before the consent.So I am confused…Can you please advise?

    @vsharmilee, I really have no idea how to proceed so that the error messages disappear from Adsense or if the cookies load earlier, etc… I am very sorry that I cannot help more at the moment (I would really like to help everyone that faced this problem as it’s a very seriuos thing, because adsense is our way of life), but I think that we are all who try to follow the steps required, very lost in obtaining a possible solution.

    There are some bugs that needs to be addressed.
    Sometimes, When I click on ‘Agree’ on the Choice form, all partners are off, and ads aren’t showing. Using incognito window in Chrome and TunnelBear/Germany.

    Also, if user went to ALL OPTIONS to check the content of the form, and then goes to AGREE button, he ends up with everything off.

    There’s basically 2 disagree buttons on main form window – regular ‘Disagree’ and ‘More Options’ button that switches everything to off. AGREE button, after clicking to More options, behaves as disagree button. I could add Save and Exit, but that’s just obvious. I do not understand the logic behind this.

    If all of your ads are being loaded through Ad Inserter, then autoads cannot load, until first Google ad code/javascript is loaded. There is no manual code that you need to add to your site, to load auto ads, therefore, logic is that once script from first ad is loaded, and your ca-pub code, auto ads will load as well.

    Solution: all ads must be loaded through Ad Inserter. They will be stopped from loading, until user gives his consent, including autoads. If consent is not given, code for manual ads is not loaded, and autoads cannot load on their own, without being called.

    You can see which cookies are being loaded, at every stage (when form popus up, when user gives consent, when user rejects consent), check the image:

    You can also delete all cookies. This is in Google Chrome.

    1. You can use any alignment you want.
    No wrapping is for the codes that don’t display anyting where they are inserted – footer and header codes.

    2. Both should work. You need to use cookie conditions in both cases to insert the code only when the consent is given. However, I still have’t seen any official information from Google regarding AdSense code for Auto ads and GDPR.

    3. Not aware of any issue with Moneytizer.com.
    Please post page address (with enabled remote debugging) and briefly describe the issue (what to check).

    Not sure but this is Google ad code that may display Auto ads when they are enabled.
