    Choice + Ad Inserter Plugin

    Blocking ads until consent a user has given consent. See the “How to show ads based on visitors’ consent?” section in their help documentation here. Showing you how to whitelist consent cookies such as the Google Advertising Products Cookie (euconsent-v2[vendor][consents][755]=1) and you also have to Make sure you have Dynamic blocks set to client-side insert – TCF v2.0 based cookie needs to be checked client-side (in the browser).

    * If you are still seeing 1.1 errors, you may also need to whitelist euconsent-v2[purpose][consents][1]=1 to check for Purpose one consent as well.

    Note: Ad Inserter has added some specific guidance related to Quantcast Choice on their help page, but any instructions pertaining to TCF v2.0 on should also be relevant for Quantcast Choice as we are a TCF v2.0 compliant CMP.

    Please make sure you have attempted to follow the blocking instructions provided by Ad Inserter (see above) before reporting Google 2.1a and 1.1 errors here.

  • @spacetime : This code(google ads script code) is inside header of adinserter only ..just today morning moved it from widget to adinserter.In that case any code inside adinserter should be loaded only after consent but how can it get loaded before consent..thats my confusion.Please advice.

    Again, after deleting cookies and refreshing:

    Again, after deleting cookies and refreshing: (8 and 9 cookies in use) a pair of time had to refresh as wasn’t 4 cookies like before.
    After accepting a few times as fluctuated: 85, 34, 116, 69, etc…)

    Don’t know if this information helps at all, as I don’t underestand much about cookies and if they are more or less depending on ads shown or whatever… Jus not sure.

    I checked you page in Chrome and Firefox and it seems it works fine.

    The same for your site. It seems it works fine – ads displayed after the consent is given.

    One thing guys, what I see is that in our Adsense error Excel doc, from today and from yesterday, keeps showing errors only from 23rd and 24th of August and today is 27th, so not sure if adsense has any problem or if it’s because everything is fine and those are the latest erros, before working with Ad Inserter developer thru this thread this past days and following his steps thru. If anyone knows anything about this? ??

    Code inside Header and Footer windows are inserted serverside – when the page is created.

    Thanks @spacetime for taking the time to re-check “again”, hopefully we see a light at the end of the road, who knows, it’s all so confusing, but let’s try to be positive and see where this takes us… ??

    Just one question for @spacetime. not sure if better to wait until adsense says anything about the PAGE LEVEL ADS, and to wait no including them. But if we do so, the best option I think you said is to place a new block, no wrapping, example at footer and the cookie consent, and that would be all, isn’t it? Or better to wait. Sorry for asking once more, it’s just to be sure ??

    @spacetime: Block no 10 created with headerscript and insertion defined as footer,alignment set as no wrapping and cookie conditions set. However autoads are getting loaded before the consent.Remote debugging is open, kindly check and do the needful.

    Page level ads are now AUTO ADS https://i.imgur.com/usMD83G.png
    If you block all your regular ads from loading and adsense code from firing before consent, there is no need to worry about auto ads. Auto ads are being loaded only if some manually placed ad is being loaded, and you enable auto ads in your Adsense account.
    If you remove your Adsense ads, auto ads cannot possibly load.

    To test this, pause all ads in Ad Inserter, and check source code to see where is code, for manual ads, that is loading auto ads.

    Block 10 is properly inserted. I see no AdSense code loaded before the consent.

    @spacetime : Thank you for taking time to check it.I checked randomly for 3-5 pages and I still can see autoads loading before consent.Find the screenshots below.

    Can’t reproduce it.
    Maybe you are loading some cached page.

    I see no AdSense ad code before I give the consent.

    @spacetime : Will have to wait till tomorrow’s report, will check it and let you know.

    @vsharmilee Use incognito tab when checking.
