    Hi
I’m trying to do a handbook for a friend of mine, to show him, how to write new post with the Layout I used. I made a “Testlayout” which he could use to generate new post. Because it is just a testlayout, I don’t want to have it public or password protected but Private. Now if I’m going to Prebuild Layouts > Clone Posts, I can’t find this post.
    Can you help?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi maetho,

Unfortunately, the SiteOrigin Page Builder page cloning tool only looks for public pages. There’s no direct way to avoid this at this time, but you can copy the page in an indirect manner by using the Import/Export option instead – this setting can be accessed from the Layout window also. I know this isn’t ideal, and for that, I’m sorry.

    hi
    Thank you for your answer.
Is there a way to add this in the code? or add this Layoutoption by code in a php file?

    Hi maetho,

I went looking for the relevant code and I was mistaken. I was under the impression we intentionally excluded private pages/posts but that’s not actually the case – they’re not included due to a typo. I’ve submitted a fix for this issue and this fix will be in a future SiteOrigin Page Builder update.

You can see the exact changes made to fix this issue by clicking here. If you’re comfortable with editing PHP files, I would say go ahead and apply the fix for this issue on your install.
