Choose Image Button does nothing

I recently installed Quick Featured Images plugin, however, the Choose Image Button does nothing, so I cannot select an image. I have deactivated most other plugin, to no avail. Any idea why the button does not work?
FYI – media is loaded in a subfolder under the upload folder, but they do show up in the media library.
