Good afternoon,

I just launched my store and a client tried o pay with MBWAY, but missed the 5 minute limit. When they clicked on the “CLIQUE AQUI SE DESEJAR USAR OUTRO MéTODO DE PAGAMENTO” link or the “Por favor tente de novo.” links, the URL is missing the “order-pay” endpoint and the order id number.

For example the link is:
https://www.poetaazul.pt/finalizar-compra/?pay_for_order=true&key=wc_order_UXA4YDVWtPbtG

instead of this (which comes in the emails I can send from the order management area):
https://www.poetaazul.pt/finalizar-compra/order-pay/15831/?pay_for_order=true&key=wc_order_UXA4YDVWtPbtG

Any ideas what’s going on here?

Hi Chris,

We are using the get_checkout_payment_url() method for the order.

We just tested on our end, both logged in and as visitors, and the URL is complete: https://wordpress.local/finalizar/order-pay/16631/?pay_for_order=true&key=wc_order_hS2eHA4fyR0pf

As you can see on WooCommerce’s class-wc-order.php file, this method calls wc_get_endpoint_url( 'order-pay', $this->get_id(), wc_get_checkout_url() ) which should return the correct URL.

It seems there’s is a problem with your WooCommerce endpoint configuration or maybe some other plugin is hooking into the woocommerce_get_checkout_payment_url filter.

Please check WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced and make sure the payment endpoint is set up.

In sum: you are supposed to get the full URL and our plugin does not interfere with the output from $order->get_checkout_payment_url().

Sorry for the delayed reply, but it took me some time to figure out the issue on my staging site.

The issue is with WPML translation. They have an ongoing issue that has been marked resolved already, but apparently is not. I used a workaround they suggested.
