This might help:

(1) Verify that Google’s Analytics Console is capturing your visitors, etc. (i.e., verify it’s working). If working, complete Steps (2) to (4) below.

(2) Go to the plugin’s Authentication tab. Use the Google Authentication method provided to connect your website to Google Analytics. If you’re using this method already, logout, clear your cache, then login again.

(3) Go the plugin’s Profile tab. Verify the “Install Google Analytics tracking code” switch or toggle is turned OFF.

(4) Your website’s profile (tracking code) should now appear in the fields you mentioned above.

Hello Jetxpert – Thank you for your response! Your recommendation is the same sequence that I followed earlier. I went over the whole sequence again and my site does still not appear in the Profile box. Analytify is authenticated and I have pasted the tracking code correctly into the “Header” area of my site. I have logged out of Analytics, cleared my cache and logged into Analytics again – no site name in the Profile box. I have no idea why it’s not working.

(1) Can you verify that Google Analytics is capturing information for your website? (i.e., is it displaying number of visitors in real time and for previous dates)

(2) Can you provide a screenshot of the following dashboard tabs? Please obfuscate or redact private information.

– Authentication
– Profile
– Front
– Admin

(3) What Google Tracking Code (tag) are you using? (analytics.js, gtag.js, or ga4). Please provide the code (obfuscate or redact your UA number)

@barryrichardson The problem you are facing might be because of Google Analytics 4. Google Analytics has just moved to Google Analytics 4 and with that, it has removed the by default backward compatibility of UA code for new users.

If your Google Analytics code starts with G-****** then you are using Google Analytics 4.

Note: You cannot downgrade a GA 4. You would have to create a new account with UA compatibility.

In the Analytics code I have altered the Measurement ID for privacy.

In my site Admin I cleared the cache, logged out of Analytics and logged in again but still nothing populates in the Profile boxes.

Thank you for the screenshots. I concur with @artisticasad. It appears you’re using Google’s GA4 tracking method. Please follow what he recommended and see if that fixes your issue.

Also, noticed that you have excluded “Administrator” from tracking. Not familiar with the plugin’s code, but if you’re the website Administrator, that could be part of your problem as well. Click here to look at our setting.
