Choose the taxonomy filter

    Hi, congrats for this great plugin, i have used any of the widgets and works properly, the only thing that is not working for me is:

    In Livemesh Grid, the options that says Choose the taxonomy to display and filter on, if you choose in Build Post Query – Post Type, any other thing that ‘post’, the filter won’t work because it only can be used with posts taxonomies.

    If you choose a taxonomy in ‘Build Post Query’ then the filter gets populated with the child taxonomies of that choosen taxonomy. So it is imposible to show a portfolio, product or any other cpt with a working filter that lists all categories in that cpt.

    Resume: The Dropdown option Choose the taxonomy to display and filter on, only shows ‘post’ post type taxonomies, so it cannot be used with a different cpt.

    Would it be a way to do this?

    The filter is being used by lots of people for CPTs and we are using the same for portfolio post type in our dev and demo sites too.

    To reproduce this issue, can you pls list the specific steps for me as an example of what you are trying to achieve? This will help us in resolving this issue. Thanks

    Hi, thank you for the answer, i am trying to:

    Choose portfolio as pot type, then use portfolio categories as filter(impossible). As only post related categories appear in filter, i cannot use it.

    If in ‘Build Query’ screen i choose a taxonomy, in filter only appear the child taxonomies, so how can i use parent portfolio categories as filter?

    I see the issue – missing portfolio category in taxonomy field. I am able to reproduce this in my dev site though this issue was not seen before – may be 4.7 related. Let me get this fixed and issue an update here. Thanks for letting me know.

    The issue has been fixed. The taxonomy list should now show the custom taxonomies as well. Pls download the latest update.
