Choose the thumbnail image instead of Featured image

    Hey,
    I don’t set feautured images for my posts (I use normal post images in my excerpt). And so, no image thumbnail is being displayed in nelios feautured list. Looks bad. Is there any tweak that can be done so that I can choose the thumbnail from the set of images present in a post?

    Hi!

    Well, it wouldn’t be easy, but you can create your own template (using the examples included in the plugin). In this support thread I briefly explained how to do it.

    If you know how to code, you shouldn’t have any trouble extracting the images included in the excerpt (using a regular expression) and then using those images in Nelio’s template. But if you don’t know how to code, then the easiest solution is to set a featured image – even if you don’t usually use them, it’ll make your life much easier.
