  • Sorry to know that @ravkumarc. The issues you are using is due to WooCommerce update. We are done with the WCMp compatibility part with the WooCommerce 2.6X but before launching, we thought to share WCMp 2.4.0 to the users through our GitHub for testing.

Please go download the plugin and play around with its compatibility part with the WooCommerce 2.6X and let me know if you face any issue.

Hello DualCube, I have the same problem and one more question.

I set a new or present product, I click Vendor/Choose a vendor, I add a vendor to the field, I establish commission of 0% and update/save the product. doesn’t matter what I do, the vendors name doesn’t stay. After saved the vendor’s name is gone.
Important inf?r I don’t know if matters, the wc marketplace created a vendor sing the 1st and last name of a user, in my case AC Shop, the username of this user is acdigital, but but the product doesn’t accept username as vendor. My concern is about the space in between.

    1. How to fix this? I am trying for days.
    2. If one day I can fix what is the vendor’s url to access the vendor dashboard?

    Thanks,

Is there a user manual for this product so hard to setup 1st time?

Sorry to know that you are facing issue @acdigital. Please find my responses below for the queries you have placed.

    1. Choose vendor – There should be no issue while assigning the product to the vendors. I have shared the demo link – https://demo.dualcube.com/wordpress/plugins/dc_woocommerce_multi_vendor/wp-admin. Hope this will help you. Below, I have shared the access details of the demo:

    Admin aceess
    Uname – demo
    Pwd – demo

    Vendor access
    Uname – demo_vendor
    Pwd – demo_vendor

If still you face issue then deactivate all the plugins except WooCommerce and WC-Marketplace and check if you are able to assign the vendor(s) to the product(s).

Also sharing the instruction that will help you to add the one product and multiple sellers’ feature – https://goo.gl/FctRqR

    2. URL of vendor dashboard – Here is the URL of the vendor dashboard – https://demo.dualcube.com/wordpress/plugins/dc_woocommerce_multi_vendor/vendor-dashboard/.

    3. User Manual – You will find the manual in our Knowledge base().

Unfortunately, I am not able to understand this ” Important inf?r I don’t know if matters, the WC marketplace created a vendor sing the 1st and last name of a user, in my case AC Shop, the username of this user is acdigital, but-but the product doesn’t accept username as vendor. My concern is about the space in between”. Please explain it or share some screenshots, so that I can understand your concern and help you.

Thank you so much for you speed reply.
    You developed a brilliant application.

I resolved the problem partially with one of your past threads found.
There is incompatibility between WC last version and WCM current version.

Downgrading WC and reinstalling WCM from the scratch resolved the problem.

I see a lot of requests regard the same problem, I suggest you to make a small tutorial or recipe to proceed with the compatibility matter.

Incompatibility is the last think I considered, I aways believe this work right and I am doing something wrong. ??

    Cheers,
    Paulo Lopes

Rimpa, exactly what I need perhaps require customization and code hacks, or perhaps just configuration, consulting an specialist like you will clarify my possibilities.

I see in advanced that your import/export add-in will be essential for my project.

My multishop project don’t sell anything, I will have 5 stores working (completely) separately borrowing recording equipments and musical instruments for our students.

My vendors don’t sell or display products from/to another vendors. They are 100% separate shops with a central database to manage all the products. My main shop will not be assessable to the public but used as an inventory management.

I will work associated with WC Easy Boking in all the shops to establish rental periods.

    My questions:

    1. Is there a way to remove the shop item from the menu since it gives access to the main shop?
    2. Is it possible to display different categories for different vendors?
    3. Is it possible to simplify the vendors URL to make something shorter and consistent?
    Kind of /shop_name/vendors_name/cats/products ?
    4. With your import/export add-in could vendors to send their own products in bath separately? or only the main shop administrator can do this?
    5. where can I find information to customize the .css and general layout.

    Thank you so much again.

    Paulo Lopes

You are correct Paulo, recently we all faced compatibility issue due to WooCommerce updation as huge changes have been made in the WooCommerce. However, it is solved now and believe that there is no compatible issue any more.

Thanks for sharing plan of your site. Yes, your requirement for the site would require a good amount of customization. Anyways, let me take care of your queries one by one:

Query 1: Is there a way to remove the shop item from the menu since it gives access to the main shop?

Ans : Definitely you can remove the “Shop” option on from the menu. Please follow this path:

    wp-admin >> Appearance >> menus
You will find the “Shop” option named “Menu Structure”. Click on the Shop option, there you will get the “Remove” option.

Query 2. Is it possible to display different categories for different vendors?

Ans: Presently, WC-Marketplace doesn’t provide the facility of assigning the different categories for different vendors. But you can customize to meet your requirement.

Query 3. Is it possible to simplify the vendors URL to make something shorter and consistent?
    Kind of /shop_name/vendors_name/cats/products ?

Ans: Unfortunately, this is not possible to do.

Query 4. With your import/export add-in could vendors to send their own products in bath separately? or only the main shop administrator can do this?

Ans: Using WCMp Vendor Product Import Export add-on, vendors can add products from the site front-end as well as from backend, if the Admin permits them so. To know more, please visit – https://wc-marketplace.com/product/wcmp-vendor-product-import-export/.

Query 5. Where can I find information to customize the .css and general layout.

Ans: To customization the CSS and general layout of WC-Marketplace, please follow this path: dc-woocommerce-multi-vendor.2.4.0 >> dc-woocommerce-multi-vendor >> assets >> frontend >> css.

Rest depends on the theme, so for changes, you have to tweak the theme’s CSS.

    Thank you so much Rimpa.

    Two more questions. ??
Query 5: is it possible to have different layouts for different vendors? not only logo and banner. E.g. The main shop as I said will be the management area not accessible by our students, so for the main site I would like to show data kind of a plain crud tables such as Datatables.net or for instance to use a plugin providing different layouts for different vendors and main admin site.

    https://codecanyon.net/item/display-product-multilayout-for-woocommerce/6196331

    https://holest.com/index.php/holest-outsourcing/joomla-wordpress/excel-like-manager-for-woocommerce-and-wp-e-commerce.html

    https://en-ca.www.ads-software.com/plugins/excel-like-product-attribute-and-tag-manager/screenshots/

    https://codecanyon.net/item/virtuemart-excel-like-product-manager/7498168

    etc…

    Thanks again Rimpa,
    paulo

After going through your site plan last day, I was sensing that you may require the feature of the different layouts for different vendors @acdigital.

Let me explain the how this vendor shop page layout comes from. The vendor shop page creates dynamically using the WC-Marketplace’s user ID and the vendor slug and it also uses the default WooCommerce category archive template to maintain the layout and the structure. In order to edit it use the taxonomy-dc_vendor_shop.php template. The path : WC-Marketplace >> dc-woocommerce-multi-vendor >> templates >> taxonomy-dc_vendor_shop.php. But this change may be static for all the vendor shop pages.

We have this plan of different layout in our to-do-list and will implement this but it would take time. Coming to the plugins list you have shared, we are not sure about their compatibility with the WC-Marketplace. It would be highly appreciable if you test this plugin’s compatibility with the WC-Marketplace (if you have any one them). We would include your name in our contributor’s list.
