Choose what to show in feed

    I have a music podcast, and for each episode I want to be able to post a list of the songs we play. If I add the song list in the description it shows up in the feed in iTunes and other players, however.

    I would like there to be an option to choose what is included in the RSS/XML feed that iTunes and others scrape, so that I can put the song list (which I consider spoilers!) in the description, and a shorter brief in the excerpt.

    Would it be possible to add a configuration option to let us choose whether to include/exclude description, and/or the excerpt from the feed?

    Hi Mans,

    Interesting use case, and this isn’t something that we’ve run up against previously.

    We’ll put this on our list of things to look at for sure as I can see a few instances where this would be handy.
