Choosing media gallery item rather than writing url

On the new editor I find on the right sidebar checkbox “Custom Permalink” then the a text input “links to” to write my custom link url. If I want to use an internal resource, such a media gallery item, as custom permalink (e.g. /wp-content/uploads/2019/08/image.jpg), is there a way to open a dialog box to choose the item from? Or copying and pasting url is the only possible option?
