Choosing post excerpt

  • Hello,

    Thanks for this amazing plugin!
    When we use the ###POSTDESC### keyword in a notification email, the first 50 characters of the post content are used.
    Would it be possible to add an option to use the post_excerpt field instead? Or to add a new keyword ###POSTEXCERPT###?
    This field is filled in manually and has therefore a higher quality content.

    Hello again,

    It has been almost 9 months since my original request and I don’t see any change on this topic.
    Is this improvement still on your roadmap? If so, can you please provide an estimate of when this will be implemented?
    From what I’ve seen in the code (es_cls_sendmail class, es_sendmail function), this is a small improvement and it would really help improve the quality of the excerpt send in the email notifications.
