Chosing amount of points to redeem at checkout

I have recently installed this plugin which seems to be really good and am very happy with it thus far.

My only question is… when I added a product to the basket, when in the basket/checkout area, the plugin gives me the option to redeem all my points as a part payment for the goods.
Is there a way for the customer to use part of their points as payment? I feel some customers may want to use some points on one purchase and leave some there for future purchases.
