    Hi,

    I have two quick questions:

    1. Is Chrome extension mandatory for this plugin to function?
    2. Does this plugin and or the Chrome extension collect “any” information from the host website? ex: Do you collect any information on which domains are using your plugin/extension, order details, customers details, etc?

    1. Yes, it is mandatory. You need to install the plugin Chrome extension to import products, and fulfill the orders in the free version.

    2. No, this plugin and the Chrome extension do not collect “any” information from the host website. The plugin connects Aliexpress via the extension, it imports products (so it collects product information: title, price, description, inventory…you can refer to our documentation) from Aliexpress, your customers purchase these products on your WooCommerce site, then you fulfill these orders on Aliexpress. It is the dropshipping business type, you can google to find out more.

    Thanks for your answers, I was more interested in knowing if there is any external services involved other than Aliexpress endpoints. Meaning does the extension or the plugin need to connect and exchange data with any other external API other than Aliexpress?

    I know that communicating with Aliexpress is essential, but what I want to verify is if any data is collected and exchanged outside the scope of wordpress->extension->aliexpress.

    There are 2 cases in which you could use API:
    + Connect ALiexpress and WooCommerce via WooCommerce REST API (internal API).
    + And bulk fulfill orders and sync products/orders (a premium feature) via Aliexpress API => This is an external API from Aliexpress.
