    Hi,

    I am using Meta Slider on the homepage of my site: https://185.116.213.93/~africand/wpad/.

    With Chrome, instead of the slider loading up in sync with the other components of the page, it seems to be delayed for a split second, causing a flicker. This does not happen with Firefox, Edge or Safari on an iPad. Could you please look in to and see how it can be fixed.

    To recreate the issue, press the Home button repeatedly.

    Thanks,
    Richard

    Hi there,

    Could you try adding the following CSS to your theme’s style.css file:

    .metaslider ul, li {
    margin: 0;
    }

    Thanks,
    Dave

    Dave,

    Thanks for coming back to me.

    That has definitely made a difference, in that the slider no longer seems to slide into place, with a white margin appear before it does. However, the general flicker effect is still present. Is there anything else I can try? Can I give you admin access to take a quick look?

    rt.

    Hi rt,

    I don’t see a flicker now which could mean you’re using a larger screen than the settings in the slider.

    Try increasing the size of the slider above the screen you’re using or conversely test on a smaller screen to see if the same thing is happening.

    Thanks,
    Dave
