Chrome flicker/split-second load delay

Hi,

I am using Simple Slideshow Manager on the homepage of my site: https://matrixone.co.uk/wpad/.

With Chrome, there is a split-second delay in the slider loading, so the orange section below it appears in its place momentarily – which causes the screen to almost flicker. This does not happen with Firefox, Edge or Safari on an iPad. Could you please look in to and see how it can be fixed.

To recreate the issue, press the Home button repeatedly.
