Chrome forces mobile view in desktop

I have since tested on a couple of other computers, also using Chrome, and it displayed correctly for them, but i’m still getting the mobile version on my iMac.

Looks OK to me in Chrome. Clear your cache and/or use an incongito window to check your site.

Same issue in both Chrome and Safari: https://www.oakhurstpcusa.org. Running on a PC, not Mac.

Also, just started with 4.5.2 WordPress update. Have updated theme (Church theme, purchased from Vamtam).

Like i mentioned in my initial post i did clean the cache and it did not work. Opening an incognito window on Chrome also shows in mobile view. Any additional help?

yes i get it… as i mentioned i can also see it correctly if i use Chrome on a different computer.

The problem is my iMac is my main tool of work; what i intend to use to update and use WP admin panel (that also shows in mobile view like the website). Like this i cannot work with it. I’ve always used my computer to edit the website but something definitely changed recently. I’m not sure what is going on! Should i consult Chrome for support as well? I need this fixed asap.

It does not see, to me at least, that this is a WordPress problem. It’s something funky going on with your computer.

You know, really don’t need a 13 MB 2126×2126 image on the front page that is scaled down to 646×646. Just display an actual 646×646 image. Site will load much faster.

Anyway, if I shrink my browser enough, then I get the mobile looking view: https://i.imgur.com/8y3UhR4.png ;otherwise, it looks normal.

Using Firefox 47. Perhaps whatever script is detecting the browser’s viewport isn’t getting the correct value? What happens if you try resizing the browser width?

If I disable JavaScript I never get the mobile menu and always have a normal menu.

Thank you so much MarkRH, the problem is solved. For some reason Chrome was always opening that particular webpage at a 175% zoom forcing the mobile view. I just zoomed it out and it went right back to normal.
