Trying to analyze a client’s Divi theme website. When we run Lighthouse in Chrome Developer tools a few times we get banned from the site. A Wordfence screen comes up.

We had to use VPN to be able to access the site again.

How do we tell Wordfence to allow specific site testing tools? This will become super important as we prep sites for Google Page Experience.

    Thanks.

Hello @dailyvideo and thanks for reaching out to us!

If you get locked out in the future, you can follow these steps to regain access:

    • Please use FTP/SFTP — or any file manager your web host provides via their administration panel.
    • Look inside the /wp-content/plugins/ directory and rename the wordfence directory to wordfence.bak.
    • Once you have logged in to your WordPress admin you can name the folder back to wordfence again.
    • Refresh your dashboard and you should be able to see Wordfence Active again. If not, go to the Plugins page and Activate it.

As for your block reason, can you navigate to Tools > Live Traffic and find your IP that was blocked, click on it to expand it. What is the reason it says you were blocked?

    Thanks!
