    Good day,

I noticed the shipping costs with taxes, can not be correctly transferred to Chrome Pay.

In my shop, shipping costs include taxes. However, these taxes are not reflected correctly in Chrome Pay.

The total tax of the shopping cart is correct.

How should I specify this in your plugin, which also gives Chrome Pay the shipping costs with taxes?

Here is an example picture: https://ibb.co/6yzPdCx

    Thank you in advance.

    Hey there @retroreiz

Sorry we didn’t get a reply to you before now.

To confirm what you’re saying here – when in the shopping cart, the shipping shows inclusive of tax but when the Payment Request button is clicked, the tax is ignored?

I’ve tested this via my own site and when changing the shipping rate you can see the amount of tax change:

I then used the same browser and made up details in Germany so I could act as a “customer” there and I can replicate what you’re seeing – the €5.95 isn’t passing to the Payment Request.

    1. Have you found a solution in the time since you posted?
    2. Do this happen for every shipping method and every product?
    3. If this still happens, are you ablt to go through a conflict test?

Let me know how you get on!

    Thanks,

    Hello @dougaitken

    Thank you for your feedback.

    1. No, I have not found a solution. The only solution would be to exclude the shipping costs from the tax calculation. That would be wrong in German tax law!

    2. It occurs at all shipping costs. Once the taxation of shipping costs is active. Yes with all products. At 19% tax and also at 7% tax. (In Germany there are two tax classes).

    3. I have already tried something like that. I had a trial installation, with only the Stripe plugin and Woocommerce (default). The theme was also standard. Here is the same problem.

    Maybe some information.

The prices in the shop are indicated incl. VAT. Accordingly, I have the shipping costs include VAT. If I quote the prices exclusive of VAT, then of course it will be displayed correctly in GPay.

You write you can adjust it? In your test shop, or can you just adjust it at my shop?

I hope it will soon find a solution. It is not tragic, only it disturbs some customers.

    Greetings Andreas
