[Cimy User Extra Fields] How to set different sets of fields for various groups?

What does it mean group of users? If you use WordPress MultiSite then yes is possible, read the documentation.

I have some different custom roles/groups (cars, bikes, trucks) created using User Role Editor.
The problem is that I need different user profiles (different fields) depending on their role. I’m trying to do this using your plugin but I can’t use my custom roles, I can access only to standard wordpress roles plus view_cimy_extra_fields which is not enough to show/not show fields depending on role.

Can you help me? Thx.

This is a VERY desirable feature for your already excellent plugin. It should not be too difficult to implement, and will make your plugin comply better to existing WP features.

In cimy_uef_admin.php lines 632-640 (and elsewhere)you have hard-coded the role list. However, a feature of WP is the ability to add user roles freely – e.g. WP function add_role() or the WP Class WP-Roles.

I need this feature and so will attempt a hack. I’ll post the changes here if successful.
