Hello,
So you seem to be unfamiliar with installing a plugin.
1. Login to your WordPress site.
2. Go toDashboard
->Plugins
->Add New
.
3. Find theUpload Plugin
button at the top of the page.
4. Upload the downloaded zip file.
5. Activate the uploaded plugin.Hope this helps.
hi there – hav to add the plugins manually –
due to some restricted configured server.
so i need to do it with sftp-client – winSCPthere fore the question above
Hello,
Upload the files in the
wp-content/plugins
directory.Hope this helps.
hello again – many thanks for the hints –
took the files – the zip here:
https://github.com/michaeluno/amazon-auto-links-slider-template/archive/master.zip
https://github.com/michaeluno/amazon-auto-links-slider-template.git– installed all the stuff here:
/sites/literaturen.org/wp-content/plugins/
amazon-auto-links
amazon-auto-links-slider-template-masterunfortunatly i cannot see the the “amazon-auto-links-slider-template-master” in the plugin-overview
why is this so!?
Hello,
– installed all the stuff here:
/sites/literaturen.org/wp-content/plugins/
The location is good. Make sure you uncompress the zip file. So it should look like
/sites/literaturen.org/wp-content/plugins/amazon-auto-links-slider-template-master/amazon-auto-links-slider-template.php /sites/literaturen.org/wp-content/plugins/amazon-auto-links-slider-template-master/template/slider/... /sites/literaturen.org/wp-content/plugins/amazon-auto-links-slider-template-master/template/slider/... ...
unfortunatly i cannot see the the “amazon-auto-links-slider-template-master” in the plugin-overview
The name of the template plugin is
Slider Template for Amazon Auto Links
and it should be listed in the page accessed viaDashboard
->Plugins

Hi,
So have you been able to install the slider template plugin yet?
If you don’t know if it is installed or not, go to
Dashboard
->Plugins
and see ifSlider Template for Amazon Auto Links
is listed there. If listed, make sure it is activated also.After confirming it is activated, try these steps.
1. Go to
Dashboard
->Amazon Auto Links
->Templates
and activate theSlider
template.
2. Go toDashboard
->Manage Units
and click theEdit
action link of the unit you want to edit.
3. Select theSlider
template in theTemplate
->Template Name
option and save.
4. Click on theView Unit
link to see the unit preview.At this point, you should see products displayed in a slider.
If you cannot follow what is said above, tell which step you get stuck.
