Despite my putting in a new address and adding 80,455 meter circle around it.. when I save – it reverts back to the default address (Unnamed Road, Aristes, PA 17920, USA).. I finally got it to keep DFW airport, but then the circle does not appear. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get a map that shows a 50 miles 80,455m) radius around the DFW International Airport?
    Thanks.

  • Dear mamomi,

    Thanks for contacting us.
Could you, please, try to add the address using another browser and check if the same issue exists or not?

Do you want to add a marker or a circle?

We will be glad if you provide the address you would like to add to the field and we will check it at our end.

    Thanks

I tried using Opera browser (first time was Chrome) and got the same result. It still defaults to the PA address even after I click on Save. I want a circle that has a 50 mile radius around the address.
I initially wanted DFW International Airport (which is fills in after I type it in) but if a specific address is needed, I then used 1816 Clark Trail, Grand Prairie, TX.

    Thank you.

    Dear mamomi,

Could you please provide the address you want to put on the field and we will check it at our end?

Also, it will be great if you check if there is an error in the console (F12) of your WordPress admin page (backend)?

    Thanks

I wrote in the address in my response – 1816 Clark Trail, Grand Prairie, TX.
I do not see any error – but then I’m using a MacBook, not sure if F12 does what you expect it to on a Mac.

    Dear mamomi,

We can suggest you add concrete latitude and longutude of that address which is
    32.65189 and -97.028412

The problem you have faced is not related to the plugin’s codes but to the Google API

We will be glad if you test that from you side and inform us of you results.

    Thanks

Thank you. Using the latitude and longitude kept the address in there and made the circle appear, however it doesn’t appear to be right.
I need a 50 mile (80,500) radius around the address (or lat/long) but it doesn’t appear to be centered correctly. You can see it at this link:

    Dear mamomi,

Could you, please, provide a screenshot of your Current Slider’s backend options: https://prntscr.com/hqfg6b ?

    Thanks

    Dear mamomi,

We are sorry for the previous post.
    You can disregard it. ??

So, if we got your point right, you want the marker to be in the center of the circle.
For that, please add the same latitude and longitude to the separate marker and to the center address of the circle.
We have tested it at our end. It should work: https://prntscr.com/hqh5oo
Please leave the Address field empty in both cases.
We will wait for your results.

    Thanks

    HI there.
Ok, that worked. It now looks more like a centered circle around the address.
BTW, I could not leave the address field empty. I deleted the address and saved, but when I go back to look at the entries, it was filled in with this address >> 1806-1810 Clark Trail, Grand Prairie, TX 75052, USA

Nonetheless, this is doing what I need it to do – so thank you for the support.
