• The feature image for my posts appears on the front page as a square with no circle reveal like the images for the feature pages. I can’t find any setting that turns this on and I have tried different image sizes with no effect. What am I missing?

    Hi,
This is probably a browser issue (IE). This is not supported by IE version < 10.

Nope using Mac OS 10.7 and Safari. I uploaded a bunch of images to the media library and resized them to try to make the feature work. The feature pages reveal works well but the post images will not work.

OK in this case, it’s probably because you have resized your images down to a width < 270 px.

You should not need to resize your images : the theme will automatically resize them when you upload in order to avoid those issues.

The only condition is that the original images should be wider than 270 px to activate the post image reveal effect.

    Hope this helps

No luck. I uploaded full sized images and switched to Chrome on Windows with no change. This isn’t a hill for me to die on I would just like the feature. here is the site (currently under construction) https://jimsellers.net/wp/

OK I checked your website. Image dimensions should be OK, you are right.
Do you use any plugins which could add some kind of treatments or filtering to images?

No I’ve stripped all the widgets out. The posts are defaulted to right sidebar but there’s nothing in them. I deleted the earlier test posts and imported new images at full size but the effect is AWOL.
The site is for younger readers so I had hoped to keep the dynamics in place. I am uneducated in CSS but can copy and paste like a whiz. feel free to email me directly, [Redacted. You can find that level of support from Codepoet]

Hey, I found the culprit after many investigation in the database.
    Drum roll…………. Jetpack “photon”

It seems not being compatible with the circles as it load images from the cloud. Just disable it and that’s all.
