    Hi all, newbie here!
I have recently upgraded to the latest version and the usual circles doesn’t appear after the upgrade. ( Instead of circles it turn out to be rectangles)

Any idea how to fix it, or can I downgrade to the previous 1.7 template? How do I do the downgrade?

  • Hi – I am having the same issue – can you pls tell me how this was resolved? Thanks!

@steves_turn: It is considered impolite to interrupt another poster’s ongoing thread unless you are posting a solution or suggestion. It causes significant problems for the forum’s volunteers and prevents us from being able to track issues by topic. Please post your own topic.

@esmi – ok, thanks for the heads up…I thought typically when a forum topic says [resolved], that means there is a solution to the problem (which in turn should also be posted). Now, I understand not every solution to a problem will be the same, but it is also considered impolite to not share the solution on a post that is [resolved]. But I do appreciate you responding in a timely manner. I will create a new topic.

    Thank you ??

Hi Steves_turn, I posted the thread here but no one replied. Since this place doesn’t help I decided to close the topic. However there wasn’t any button to delete the thread, which is why I declared “resolved”.

My site looked really bad as there were circles, ovals and rectangles all over at the main page earlier. Since I got some temporary resolution and was able to make all the ovals and rectangles back to circles, no point leaving it as active topic. I didn’t know closing down a thread which nobody replies to is “impolite”.

For those who are having the same problem with me (circles became rectangles or ovals) it could be one of your plugins. Try to deactivate all plugins and see if the problem still occurs. Then try to activate your plugins one by one and find out the defect plugin.

    Hope that helps.

Haha, thanks for the reply @pheurontay…Yeah, I didn’t know why it was marked [resolved] but that makes way more sense…I did open another topic, and then I resolved it myself (with the help of some other threads). In my case just clearing the cache on my browser helped (although I really hate clearing cache, because I am so lazy about reentering my usernames etc, every time, haha). Anyway, appreciate the reply…Just curious if you have noticed your images getting skewed or stretched though now on the homepage? With the update I am pretty sure there is some auto-sizing going on and some of my images are obviously stretched and don’t look as good as they did on v 1.07. Anyway, thanks for replying and didn’t mean to infer you were impolite, I just didn’t know you can’t delete a post either :).
