• Hi,
I have a client who would like to have a permanent citadel mode with a whitelist of allowed IP …
Is there a way to make it permanent ? Set the number of attemps to 0 ?

    Thanks for your help !
    Cheers,

    Hi!

    Nope, this way:

Set “Limit login attempts” limit to 1.
Enable “Immediately block IP when attempting to log in with a non-existing username”.
Set “Threshold” for the Citadel mode to 1.

Currently, you can get this only by limiting access in the .htaccess file.

There is no other way ? Your plugin will not allow me to do that with specific settings ?

Nope. As of now, there is no such feature in the plugin.

Just to point out that I had the same exact request from a client, and anyway, it would be indeed a very useful feature. Just a “permanent” flag in addition to the other settings.
I hope you’ll consider it for the next releases
