Citadel Mode questions

    Hi – I am just about to set up WP Cerber in our live env’ after working with it on our staging env’. I am trying to get the Citadel Mode settings clear in my mind. I have read in your FAQ that setting Threshold to 0 disables Citadel mode. But turning off Enable Authentication Log Monitoring appears to do the same ?. What would be the considerations for either approach.

    I like the idea of the Citadel feature but we do not have a static ISP supplied IP address. So the whitelist will not stay current.

    I should say that I also intend to use the Custom login URL feature. This to my mind has a bearing on the discussion.

    Hi! Both ways work equally. Setting the threshold to 0 is an old way (we will remove it from the FAQ). The preferred way is disabling “Enable authentication log monitoring”.
