City Not Showing Up

  • Hi,

    The city location stopped showing up on my website. It did for a day and then just stopped…..any reason why? Is there a usage cap or something?

    When I do a an IP test look up in the backend, it shows the country data, but not the city…see image: https://i.imgur.com/D5Hnv1o.png

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Which source are you using?
    No there is no usage cap (except with Maxmind precision)
    But there are some IP adresses that do not have any city data associated. Try entering other IP adresses in the test lookup.

    Hi,

    I’m using this source “Automatic download & update of Maxmind GeoIP Lite City.”

    Well it works for a few days and then stops working all of a sudden, so it cant be the IP. I’m using it on 2 pages now:

    /chiropractic-lead-generation/

    Any idea what’s going on?

    I have two cache plugins installed W3 and Auto Optimize…I enabled the option to disable cache on pages that have the short code…

    How can I use the shortcodes for country and city inside contact form 7 as a hidden field?
