Claim Post Feature

  • Could you please add a feature that would allow for members of one group (editors for example) to create a list of posts they would like another group (contributors for example) to be able to “Claim”? When a user of one group “Claims” the post it changes the posts author to that user.
    Example:
    I run a magazine. I would like my editor to be able to “pitch” a article idea to a group (contributors). When the contributors login they see a list of “pitch” articles and then “claim” that article and that article then changes status to “claimed or draft” in the user who claimed its name.

    Did anyone every find a tool to do this – I’m looking for something to do it also.

    I’d really like to see this also. I don’t want to have to assign posts to my writers. Right now we’re using Trello let writers grab posts from our big list of topics, but it would be great to have this integrated into editflow / wordpress.
