Is this the right way to do it:
I downloaded -> installed -> activated the plugin -> then I went to seetings->reading “Visible only to administrators of this site” -> and clicked save.

My understanding was that this wopld block the content of my blog for everyone except me. Is that right?
If yes I don’t know what went wrong, but the blog is still visible for everyone else.

    Thanks!

You must activate it through the Network Plugins Activation. I wish the WordPress plugin repository had a better way of separating multisite plugins from single site plugins.

Nevertheless, this plugins is for a multisite WordPress network, not a single site version of WordPress.

    1. Upload entire more-privacy-options folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
    2. Network Activate the plugin through the ‘Network Plugins’ menu in WordPress
    3. Set multisite “Network Visibility” option at Network-Settings page

This plugin will be of no use to you if you do not have a WordPress multisite network.
