Clarification on what this plugin does

Hi I can see other users have asked simillar questions but not worded them in a way that is helpful.

This has solved an interface problem for me but I wanted to confirm the following. It would be good to add some of these clarifications to the plugin description.

1. Does this plugin disable widgets fully – Front end and backend?
2. Or does it just prevent them from loading in the back end?
3. Does it actually disable them? or does it just hide them?
4. If it disables them – We will see a speed improvement because the widgets wont load.
5. If it just hides them then it just improves the interface
