I was just checking my site and I am getting the following error. Can someone help me out?

Warning: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: unable to connect to matej.nastran.net:80 (Connection timed out) in /home/steveell/public_html/wp-includes/class-snoopy.php on line 1157

I can’t even get into wp-admin because I get this error:

Warning: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: unable to connect to matej.nastran.net:80 (Connection timed out) in /home/steveell/public_html/wp-includes/class-snoopy.php on line 1157

Weird, it righted itself. Back to working properly.

same thing happen on my site, https://www.joenelumal.com I’m not sure what causes it but it’s annoying.. My initial reaction is to panic, I’m posting a new blog entry then i click publish, and that error come out.. when i hit refresh it shows blank white page, but when i go back to my home page, the post is there and WP seems running fine..

This has just started on my site today, has anyone got to the bottom of it?

I just sorted it, it’s the WP-Bible plugin, deactivate it.

I’ve just finished experimenting… I think sometimes, some of the plugins available is not compatible with the server. Just like what happened to me…. I’ve figure it out that “wp_Bible” is causing it.

I tried to delete in using the FTP because I cannot login nor see my site… Finally, my wordpress site appeared.

Turns out My Plugins, also from matej.nastran.net, also causes the error. As of this writing, the site is down… so I guess the plug-in is, too..? Deactivating fixes things right up.

Thanks MadHag and thedesciplers. I was having this same issue. I thought it was my hosting service but after getting rid of wp_bible my site works fine. A good lesson learned (hopefully).
