    Hi,

I am using the plugin Wise Chat Pro. I set the chat mode to “Facebook mode”, so users can private chat while they navigate through the webpage.

Now I activated Buddypress groups, and the Buddypress integration on Wise Chat. The chat tab on the group page does not show anything, nor the messages list, nor the input field, nor the users list. However, if I change the mode to “Classic mode”, the chat works perfectly.

Is it possible to have different modes for each chat? For example, to enable the Facebook mode for private messages and classic mode for group or global chats.

    Thank you again!

    Hello,

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, Wise Chat Pro is designed to be put on BuddyPress group page in classic mode. It’s because that tab will remain empty if the chat is moved to the right edge of the screen. Additionally, you can set the mode via “mode” attribute in the shortcode:
    [wise-chat mode="0"]
    for classic mode.

    Best regards
    Marcin
