Classic Editor Issues with WP5.5

After upgrading to WP5.5, I could no longer click on the TEXT tab while editing a Page or Product in WP’s Classic Editor.
Pressing F12 in Chrome displayed the error:
Uncaught ReferenceError: commonL10n is not defined dismiss-notice.js?ver=5.5:12
at HTMLDivElement.<anonymous> (dismiss-notice.js?ver=5.5:12)
at Function.each (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)
at jQuery.fn.init.each (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)
at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (dismiss-notice.js?ver=5.5:9)
at i (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)
at Object.fireWith [as resolveWith] (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)
at Function.ready (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)
at HTMLDocument.J (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)Hovering over “dismiss-notice.js?ver=5.5:12” pointed to the FAQ plugin.
After disabling the FAQ Plugin, the issue was resolved.

Confirming that I’m getting the same “dismiss-notice.js” error on multiple sites I manage that make use of this plugin.
One one of them I seem to be able to access the “text” view of the editor without any issues. On the other site nothing happens when I click the “text” tab.
Here is how to workaround this issue.
1. Edit dismiss-notice.js file using your WP plugin editor. Here is the path https://your.domain.name.here/wp-admin/plugin-editor.php?file=arconix-faq%2Fincludes%2Fcomponent%2Ftracking-data%2Fassets%2Fjs%2Fdismiss-notice.js&plugin=arconix-faq%2Fplugin.php
2. Replace
btnText = commonL10n.dismiss || ”;
with
btnText = “”;Worked in my case. (I dismissed plugin notice before so I didn’t care to mess with this file.)
