Classic Editor Visual/Text Tabs not working with yoast latest update

Hi,

We understand that the classic editor tabs are not working correctly. We can see how this might give you pause. We would like some more information.

1. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

2. If you check for JavaScript errors do any appear on that page in the backend? Can you describe them or take a screenshot? If you are not sure how to look for JavaScript errors please use this guide https://yoast.com/help/how-to-find-javascript-errors-with-your-browsers-console/.

3. Are you using a pagebuilder like WPBakery, Elementor, SiteOrigin or Divi etc. to create pages? Or is it just Classic Editor?

4. Does it happen across your entire site or just posts or pages?

I am having the same issue. Text tab doesn’t work, and when I deactivate Yoast it works fine.

For me I was on WordPress 5.5.1 and Yoast 15.0 and yes, all the other plugins were updated. I do have Classic Editor and am using a page builder (one by Goodlayers that comes with their themes) but there are a lot of pages and posts that have content in the WP editor, so that is where I noticed the issue.

I solved it by rolling back to Yoast version 14.5.

i am was using 14.9 version of yoast, then update it to 15.0 still problem is same.

Thank you for including a link to your screenshot of a Javascript error that occurs.

Looking at the specific error, we believe there is a conflict with a theme or plugin that integrates with our code. We say so because we see the function TM_PB_Yoast_Content in the screenshot. We did a quick search for this and found out that this is related to the Power Builder plugin, are you using this specific plugin?

If so, other users mentioned having issues with the same Power Builder plugin. We encourage you to reach out to the plugin developers to get them involved in resolving their integration and functionality.
