• High there,
I loaded “classic-widgets.0.2.zip” and decompreseds it.
    I get 3 files : “classic-widgets.php” , “LICENSE.md” , “readme.txt”
    And now ???
    Nothing happens …
    No user guide, no documentation.
How to install that plugin ?
    Thanks for your help.

Open your WordPress admin dashboard and click Plugins > Add New.

Click “Upload Plugin” and either drag-and-drop the classic-widgets.0.2.zip file you downloaded, or click “Browse…” to locate it.

Click “Install Now”, and then click “Activate”. Once the plugin is active, the widget block editor will be disabled.

    Hello Gabriel,
Thanks for your help but it seems that plugins are only allowed from “business plan”.
    Is it correct ?
As my plan is “personal” it should explain my problem.
    Am I true ?
If it is so, I fear I will stuck with that sh..ty “new feature” I mean block processing.

I am in the same position as you, Claude. Completely unable to edit my old work because I updated to the new blocks. Can’t get the old widgets back unless you spend £60!!!! Pretty unimpressed.

There is more than one plugin with the same name …. I just installed this one and it does work as expected and it’s free. Just make sure you take the one from “WordPress Contributors”.
In my case the block editor wouldn’t register my language choices, all widgets would appear no matter what language choice I made … so thank you for this extension !
