Clean all post revisions

    A) If I run the “Clean all post revisions” optimisation will that also clean all future revisions? In other words will it completely disable the production of revisions now and in future?

    B) Is it possible to “Clean all post revisions” except for the last 2?

    Hello

    Clean all post revisions will clean all currently available revisions if this is run manually as an optimization using the Optimizations > Run optimization button but not future revisions.

    If you set a scheduled optimization (Database > Settings > Scheduled clean-up settings), then all post revisions will be removed commensurate with the schedule (Once, Daily etc) but this will not completely disable future revisions either.

    In Database > Settings > General settings you can prevent data and post revisions from being deleted and the rules here will override both the manual and scheduled approach above. In your case set “Always keep x post revisions” to 2.
