Cleaning database after dupe site or account changes
-
Hello,
In dashboard, I had an alert:
The public and/or secret keys for the Stripe gateway have been changed. This might cause errors for existing customers and saved payment methods. Click here to learn more.
Per Woo documentation on Stripe: Fixing customer errors, I performed the cleanup on my database.
However, the alert persisted for awhile. It’s gone since I dismissed it, but I don’t know if that’s because the problem has been solved, or because of the dismissal. So, is there a value I can look for in the database that will help me determine if indeed the fix commands worked?
It’s really discomforting to be warned that customers may not be able to submit a payment, and I’d really like to avoid running a live test transaction then refunding it, because then I’d have the extra bookkeeping headache of a Stripe fee without a transaction.
Thanks!
