Clear cart / prevent ordering after cutoff time

I hope you can help. I’m using the Product Delivery Date Pro plugin on bonbonballoons.com

Customers select a delivery date when adding the product to their cart, and if they order before midday they can select next-day delivery.

The problem happens when someone adds a product their cart before midday and selects next day delivery, but does not check out until after midday. The order still goes through with the next day as a delivery date even though the cut-off delivery has passed.

Is there any way to ensure people’s carts are cleared at midday or that they have to change their delivery date if they check-out after the cut off point?
