Clear image inserted into WordPress posts that became blurry
-
Dear WordPressers,
I took my photos with Samsung Galaxi, each could be 2-4 MB. I resize them using IceCream Image Resizer Pro to 1024*768. After resizing, each of these photos typically would be less than 200kb. I then insert these resized images into my blog posts. Each blog post could have 10-20 photos. I have done these for the past few years. The images look good. However, for the past month or so, some of the images inserted have been a bit blurry, more so when the image is overly large and the block has only one image. The resized image looks quite sharp on my laptop even when enlarged but quite blurry viewing in WordPress.
I went through my plugins and did not find any plugins used to compress images.
My hosting site has confirmed that the problem did not come from their hosting.
About 2 months ago, I changed my primary domain to the current one.
6 months ago my blog site was infected by malware, resulting in 570 corrupted files. The site was incapacitated. These have since been cleaned up and I have been able to post new posts with no problems for a few months since then.
Since a few months ago, my edit screen has looked a bit different from the previous one. I am still learning to use the new version.
Attached below is the blog site. As an example, please see Jordan/Petra, see the last image in the post (The Sid). Another example is the 4th image (The Monastery). Other images in the posts do not appear as blurry after I shrink their sizes.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could offer suggestions on how to fix it.
