We have two filters on our posts page, one for categories and one for tags.

Say I have already filtered posts using the categories filter, but then I choose an option from the tags filter – is there a way to automatically clear my first selection and only filter by the tag I just clicked on?

Currently it’s stacking them and filtering by both category and tag, which isn’t useful in this circumstance.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @jlan155

Thank you for using Filter Everything plugin.

Out of the box such feature is not supported, because in 99,99% of cases if user selects 2 different filters it means that he wants to see posts that matches to both them. Such behaviour can be achieved by it requires custom coding and for most of users it will look confused.

For such behaviour you can use two WordPress widgets – Category widget and Tag widget.

Hi @stepasyuk, thank you for your response!

We understand this isn’t standard behaviour for a filter but have seen it in action here and we think this will work for us!

I am adding the filter using the shortcode. When I add two filter sets and two shortcodes to the page, only one shows up. Am I doing something wrong? This is the new link in case you need it.

Edit: is this something that can only be done using the PRO version of the plugin?
