• Hi,

for some reason the clearfy plugin seems to disable or unload the tickets.min.css file belonging to the plugin “event tickets” (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/event-tickets/), causing the styling of the ticket functionality going all wrong.

It took me quite some time to find out it was caused by the clearfy plugin. I tried disabling all of Clearfy’s settings to pinpoint what was causing it, but no result. Also, it is not a setting in the asset manager, in fact, the tickets.min.css does not at all appear there while others do from the same plugin, which might be a clue.

Could you fix this? It really seems to be a bug, not a setting I can influence.
    Thank you.

  • Hello.

I looked at the plugin and it does not include on the pages the CSS file tickets.min.css. There are only tickets.css

Hi, thanks for checking. The file does exist, at /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/resources/css

Included is a link to a screenshot of the inspector’s css. I should add that the tickets.min.css IS loaded when logged in, and is NOT loaded when not logged in. And only when Clearfy plugin is active.

    Thanks.

I see that the file is in the folder with the plugin, but I didn’t find it in the code where it connects to the page.
Have you tried disabling CSS/JS minification?

You can write to our support team so that I can study this in more detail.

If you refer to the disabling of CSS/JS minification component within Clearfy, I do not have it activated.

Initially I mentioned the bug to the owner of the tickets plugin, and they say the loading of the css file happens through normal wordpress enqueueing procedure.

I don’t know what to do next, other than just disabling the clearfy plugin. If you mean with “You can write to our support team so that I can study this in more detail.” that you will not research this further unless I have a premium licence, then that would be disappointing.

The fact is that on my test site, the tickets.min.css file did not connect even without Clearfy.
Write to support, and we will try to figure it out.

In my site tickets.min.css is loading fine without Clearfy.

Your support form only allows pro users to submit. I am not an pro user. I did donate two years ago, though ??

Assuming there will be no follow-up on this, considering I won’t do paid support. I’ll do a 2 star review, not 1 star because of the attempt to reproduce it. Will change it to 5 star once solved.. if ever.

For now, to circumvent this bug, I’ll just dump the whole css content of tickets.min.css into another theme css file. Not very clean, but it works.
